Hey Sushi Squad, We wanted to take a moment to talk to you all from the heart, just us being real with you for a sec.. If you've ever wondered why we sometimes mix up a character, forget a plot point, or miss a detail you caught instantly… we hear you, and we want to explain where we're at. Between the two of us, we're actively watching anywhere from 5 to 10 ongoing anime every single week. Most have hundreds of episodes, dozens of characters, layered arcs, power systems, political factions, and their own internal rules. We rotate shows daily — one or two series today, two or three different ones tomorrow, another the day after that — and each one drops new characters, new episodes with new cliffhangers we have to hold in our heads until next week. Here's the closest comparison we could come up with: Imagine picking up Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games, Dune, and The Hobbit, and reading exactly 25 pages of one, then switching to the next, then the next. Do that two or three times a day, every day. Then next week, read the next 25 pages of each one. Remember who betrayed who. Remember the magic system. Remember the lore. Remember the foreshadowing. That's basically what we're doing — and we want you to know we are genuinely trying our best. And we hope you have noticed our improvements and efforts! We read every Patreon comment. We read the notes our mods send us. We go through recaps. We do our homework before we hit record. None of that is lost on us, and we're so grateful for everyone who helps keep us sharp and informed. But we're human. Mistakes are going to happen. We're going to forget a name, mispronounce something, or miss a callback, and when that happens, we just ask for a little patience and grace. We may never be perfect, but we promise we're showing up, putting in the work, and loving every minute of this journey with you.
